CORSHAM COURT
An Elizabethan mansion which has been in the Methuen family for over 300 years.  Outstanding art collection with furniture by Chippendale and mirrors by Adam.  The park is the work of Capability Brown, completed by Humphrey Repton.  Considered to be one of the Treasure Houses of Britain.

LACOCK ABBEY
Country House created out of a medieval abbey.  The former home of William Henry Fox Talbot, a pioneer of photography.  A picturesque village used in many films including ‘Cranford’.  A visit to the photographic museum is included.

Visit the exhibition at the V & A ‘Maharaja’ – The splendours of India’s Royal Courts with a PowerPoint presentation beforehand.   Then time for lunch and to explore your favourite galleries – the new Bollinger jewellery gallery is a must!

CHARLESTON FARMHOUSE
Home of Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant where they entertained friends from the Bloomsbury Group, all of whom decorated the house and furniture with their painting.

FIRLE PLACE
Home of the Gage family for over 500 years.  A lovely Tudor house remodelled in the 18th C.  It houses a most interesting collection.

BRIGHTON ROYAL PAVILION
Built for the Prince Regent in the early 19th C.  The building was adapted by Nash and has an amazing mix of Chinese and Indian architecture.  The chinoiserie interior is most impressive.

NYMANS
An outstanding 20th C garden which is set around a romantic Regency house and ruins in beautiful woodland.  Visit the Messel family rooms in the house.
